5 Things that can make Acne worse and how to prevent them. See number 2 and 3

Okoye Jennifer Ogechi [5] five things that can make Acne worse - and How to prevent them!

Number 1
Diet
Here is the problem: often times, we don't pay attention to what goes into our body. Higher sugar diet has been linked to affect the appearance of acne on the skin. It probably doesn't come as a surprise that
sugary treats don't do your skin any favours
If you find yourself in this situation of probably being stuck on making wrong choices in your diet, what should you do?
Sometimes sticking to a diet might be difficult sometimes. If you have a sweet tooth, sugary treats should be just that - a treat- and not something enjoyed on the daily.
Switch that white bread and pasta for fibre - rich whole grain varieties, reduce your overall sugar intake and add some skin-loving vitamins ( like vitamins A, E and C, of course B vitamins), minerals ( Iodine, zinc, calcium, magnesium and others), and Omega 3 into your diet.
Your skin will thank you!

Number 2
Stress
My people listen up
Okoye Jennifer Ogechi

Did you know stress increases cortisol?
Which in turn increases oil production in the skin, which can make acne worse. The increased cortisol production can also cause sleeping problems, which makes our skin look even worse, because our skin usually regenerate and rejuvenate during sleep

So what's the solution?
In today's society, stress is hard to avoid - that's why it's so important to schedule in some down time. A good idea is to spend time in nature, which is known to reduce both physical and psychological stress levels. Doctors in the UK have actually started prescribing "nature" to their patients to reduce anxiety and increase happiness.
So go to recreational parks
See nature 🤗
Play music, stare out the window, go for a stroll

Number 3
Humility - kai this one ehn. The weather these days have been intolerable.
This is the period where many people experience a worsening of oily skin and clogged pores.
What you can do?
✔ drink a lot of water.
✔ use products that reduces excess sebum production and prevent clogging - products containing salicylic acid are effective

Number 4
Smoking is one of the main factors that causes blackheads and whiteheads in men and women over 25.
Tobacco stimulates a chemical that influences sebum production and clogging of pores .

In this case, taking a cigarette is not the only form of smoking.
Being a secondary smoker which most of us are also affects the skin... like being in space with smokers and taking in what they've let out .
The smokes from automobiles are culprits too.
What is the solution?
Obviously quitting smoking is one of the best things you can do for both your skin and overall health. It may not be easy, but it will probably be worth it.

Plus reduce your chases of being a secondary smoker.
Number 5
Over cleansing: many women over cleanse and dry out their oily skin to deal with breakouts. When this is done, this can increase oil production even more - which can lead to more clogged pores and breakouts.

Oily skin may even be a symptom of dehydration - which means drying the skin out even more is a really bad idea.
