Manchester City striker, Sergio Aguero, scored a hat-trick as they defeated Chelsea 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.
The Argentine opened
scoring in the first half with a deflected effort, before he converted Samir
Nasri’s pass to double their lead early in the second half.
Aguero finished off
with a penalty, after Thibaut Courtois was dismissed for fouling Fernandinho.
It was his fifth
hat-trick of his Premier League career and he still needs to score six more, to
draw level with Alan Shearer’s record.
However, among players
from outside Europe, Aguero is only behind former Liverpool striker, Luis
Suarez, who has six.
